Terms In The 1900 Buganda Agreement

If, during the first two years following the signature of this Agreement, the Kingdom of Uganda is not to pay to the Ugandan administration an amount of national taxation equal to half of the population due in relation to the population; or if, at any time, it does not pay, without reason or fair excuse, the above-mentioned minimum taxation due in relation to the population; or the Kabaka, the chiefs or the People of Uganda should at all times adopt a clearly unfair policy vis-à-vis the British protectorate; Her Majesty`s Government will no longer be bound by the terms of this Agreement. . . .
